The GSI Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research in Darmstadt operates one of the leading particle accelerator facilities for science. Your tasks:

During accelerator beam times:
- Adjustment and operation of the accelerator systems in rotating shifts together with a team of experienced accelerator operators
- After successful training: possibility of leading the team in the main control room
- Development of operating resources and automation tools
- Implementation of projects to improve accelerator performance.
Outside of beam times: Support of the subproject Site Management (
