    Job DescriptionSalary:

    Broadcast Management Group is searching for a Video On Demand Technical Director (VODTD) who will be responsible for technical directing/ VOD's and handling audio equipment, processing graphics, while supporting any other operations as needed in our second control room. The VODTD will be asked to learn how to direct our studio shows.

    The VOD TD role will prepare the successful candidate on being able to have the confidence, know how, and assertiveness to become a Director with BMG. Along with being a VOD TD we'd train the right candidate to direct our live studio shows as a Junior Technical Director. This position is an opportunity to help the right person take the next step in production.

    Essential Duties:

    • Working along side the Managing Director in overseeing the operations of the VOD control room
    • Prepare the VOD Control room to be ready prior to any taping
    • Being able to be assertive as a technical director when in the chair and to learn from current directors
    • Working closes with Producers for each VOD to ensure they have what they need from the control room
    • Giving healthy and creative input
    • Having the Ability to be flexible and think on their feet, for any last-minute issues that may (and will) happen
    • Being able to manage a crew and be assertive as a director when in the chair and to learn from current directors
    • Being able solve on the spot problems when in a live setting
    • Staying calm under pressure and being able to have a short memory

    Qualifications:

    What you bring to the team:

    You have -

    • Have some Technical Directing experience, working with Ross products and

    or Black Magic preferred

    • Ability to work as a part of a team and meet deadlines
    • Some audio knowledge is preferred
    • Being able solve on the spot problems when in a live setting
    • Staying calm under pressure
    • Having the ability to be flexible and think on their feet, for any last-minute issues that may (and will) happen
    • Able to perform tasks under tight deadlines, work independently, lead projects and multitask.
    • Experience in a live production control room environment.
