    Occupational Therapy Assistant at Grays Harbor Health & Rehabilitation

    Grays Harbor Health & Rehabilitation in Aberdeen is looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their team and assist in providing therapy services to patients with various disabilities. The primary aim is to enhance patients' independence and overall quality of life.

    The pay ranges from $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and performance. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, assisting with exercises, teaching the use of adaptive equipment, monitoring progress, documenting results, and offering emotional support to residents and families.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in evaluating patients' conditions
    • Develop and implement treatment plans
    • Help residents with exercises and activities
    • Teach the use of adaptive equipment
    • Monitor progress and adjust treatment as necessary
    • Document progress and collaborate with healthcare professionals
    • Provide emotional support to residents and families

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
    • State licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
    • Experience in a skilled nursing facility
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team
    • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
    • Compassionate and patient-centered care approach
