A trades generalist performs journey-level work in one trade, and skilled and semiskilled level work in a combination of other trades in the repair and maintenance of facilities and equipment.

Incumbents may supervise others in maintenance, repair and installation, and construction activities.

This trades generalist position may include performing a variety of skilled and semiskilled maintenance, repair, installation, and construction tasks in the mechanical, plumbing, building, motor equipment and electrical trades.

This will include charging water sources at the start of the season and turning it off at the end of the season.

All tasks are to be constructed in a safe manner, with an injuries/illnesses reported immediately to the supervisor.


Additional Comments
Must have a valid driver's license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain. Must be able to work in remote areas.
Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Overtime may be required. Weekends and holidays may be required.
Must be available for emergency response. Must be available to respond to after-hours emergencies. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 60 pounds. Must have certification to operate motorized boats or personal watercrafts at time of appointment.

This is a seasonal, hourly appointment with an anticipated end date of 3/31/2025. Program needs and funding will
determine actual termination date. Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at the interview.
