Description

The Quality Performance Education Specialist is dedicated to delivering end user on-boarding and annual competencies training impacting clinical electronic systems, workflows, and functionality.

Primary responsibilities include collaborating with IT analysts, clinicians, and end users in support of system upgrades, data collection needs, and quality program requirements.

This position will work as a member of the Quality Education Team supporting Medical Group practices with the continued integration of quality into clinical workflows, training of quality initiatives, and monitor/support staff compliance through quality metric report card.


Essential Functions:

  • Works as part of a team in a centralized training and workflow development role to provide standard work governance through new employee onboarding and continued education of clinical staff across the Medical Group.
  • Participates in formal EMR training program including classroom and on the floor/in clinic
  • Participates with leadership, IT, and clinical staff to develop workflows that support quality and increase efficiency of Medical Assistants across all practices.
  • Participates in Super User clinical group
  • Supports physician leadership in development of optimization and new functionality
  • Critical role to support our practices and Medical Assistant development across the Medical Group

Required:

  • Clinical MA experience (or equivalent)

Preferred:

  • Physician office and patient contact experience;
  • Associate's degree preferred (or related experience)
  • Clinical informatics education and training experience
