For our renowned client in the chemical industry based in Hanau, we are currently looking for a

Technical Purchaser in Construction (m/f/d) full-time

Your responsibilities:

Independent commercial processing and execution of complex construction and infrastructure projects
Coordination of tenders and contract processing for construction projects, including the creation and review of tender documents and contract agreements
Liaison between project management and external partners
Taking responsibility for the change management of complex construction claims, including review of change requests, negotiations, and cost control
Digital documentation and ensuring transparent procurement and decisionmaking processes in compliance with global procurement policies
Development of category strategies for the technical facility management sector in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Support for crosssite procurement activities within the framework of category management

Your profile:

Successfully completed bachelor's degree, preferably in industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in procurement of construction services and investments
Ideally, knowledge and experience with modern procurement concepts such as partnering
Excellent knowledge of tendering and awarding of construction services according to VOB, HOAI, and other relevant standards
Proficient in IT applications such as MS Office and SAP
Strong communication and teamwork skills, combined with an analytical and independent work style
Fluent in German, both written and spoken
