- Report to production/service manager for work assignments/instruction
- Customize bare engine to meet customer requirements
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment

- Maintain a professional appearance
- Follow company procedures
- Follow technical manual guidelines for repair, replacement, and/or installation of engine components
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting/repair of engines
- Take service calls over the phone assisting customers with diagnosis of engine trouble and/or travel to customer jobsite to troubleshoot/repair
- Electronic troubleshooting, repair, and installation
- Basic metal fabrication i.e. welding, cutting, bending, etc.
- Painting of engine components and packages
- Run engine packages to verify systems operation
- 2+ years of diesel engine experience preferred
- Certification from a Diesel Technical school preferred
- Experience with John Deere, Yanmar, and Service Advisor preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must possess own hand tools
- Forklift experience
- Work flexible hours including overtime
- Power generator experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
