Position Summary


The Division of General Medicine is seeking a Data Coordinator responsible for ensuring data integrity and conducting data analysis for various cohort studies, with a primary focus on the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA) Lung Study.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct epidemiologic, biostatistical, and clinical modeling
  • Perform data analysis using R, Python, and other programming languages
  • Maintain and ensure the integrity and usability of databases
  • Assist with manuscript preparation for publication and grant writing
  • Perform additional related duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus two years of related experience
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative and writing skills
  • Effective communication skills with investigators and other staff
  • Experience in modeling, statistics, or computer programming
Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, epidemiology, engineering, applied math, or decision science) can substitute for experience
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with a preference for Python, R, or SAS
  • Experience in programming, scientific analyses, medical imaging, and publication
Other Requirements

  • Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
