Duties:
In accordance with state and federal regulations, the following will be expected and required by the medical technician:
- Urine, hair, breath, and saliva specimen collections
- Checking patients vitals
- Audiometric testing
- Pulmonary function testing
- Respiratory fit testing
- Supplied air training
- Charting, including assurance appropriate forms are filled out completely and accurately for testing purposes
- Calibration and equipment maintenance
- Maintaining HIPPA as well as company confidential information
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a laboratory or healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of laboratory test results
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret test results accurately
