Your Role

  • Your workplace is located within a 70% daily commuting distance from Chemnitz, occasionally in Thuringia or Brandenburg.
  • You will conduct soil investigations, including taking soil samples.
  • You will use probes or perform drilling (no heavy equipment will be used).
  • You will also work in the field of geothermal energy, exploring the thermal situation to make it usable.
  • Another area of work is groundwater monitoring, where you will assess the amount of groundwater present, how often it is replenished, and how much can be extracted.
  • You will set up groundwater monitoring stations for this purpose.
  • You will receive thorough training for all tasks.
  • Data evaluation will be carried out by specialists in the office.
