An extremely pleasant elderly woman (72) in West Philadelphia is in need of a caregiver to work **The shift is 8am
She is a true delight to work with and has a son who will assist in whatever is neccessary to make your job easier.
Duties:
- Attend doctor's visits every other week.
- Provide personal care services to patients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing patient's living space
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions or special needs
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records of patient care provided
- Completing weekly medication logs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity
Pay:
$ $15.00 per hour
Standard shift:
- Day shift
Weekly schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
Work setting:
- Inperson
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (preferred)
