    Job DescriptionGan Aliyah, a Jewish Preschool at Temple Aliyah in Needham, is looking for an experienced, EEC certified Teacher for our toddler class of children ages 22 months to almost 3 years, beginning in September 2024. We seek to hire enthusiastic, responsible educators who will inspire our young children to learn through exploration and discovery. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of early childhood teaching experience. EEC Toddler Teacher qualifiation required.

    • support the develoment of the whole child through our play-based, emergent curriculum.
    • engage students in creative and inspiring experiences, designed to foster their curiosity and exploration through seamless integration of Judaic and secular curriculum.
    • engage in frequent collaboration and are engaged in continuous professional growth.
    • strive to support the growth of our educators as much as our students.
    Knowledge of Judaic curriculum or a willingness to learn is an important part of this position.

    This position includes a minimum of 4 mornings a week teaching in a toddler classroom, 4 afternoons a week as part of our mixed-age afternoon program, and an average of 3 hours per week of dedicated planning time.

    We are primarily a school year program. There is an opportunity to teach in our small, 6 week summer program, if desired.
