Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations and materials handling. This is a physically demanding role that requires experience with forklifts and other equipment.


Responsibilities:


  • Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts, clamp trucks, and other equipment
  • Transport materials within the yard using rigging equipment or other mechanical means
  • Build and organize pallets of materials for storage or shipment
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:


  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or yard environment
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on equipment
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes

Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
