Description

We are seeking a hard-working, organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving and Front Desk Sales Associate.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the receiving, shipping, and delivery of goods, as well as assisting with front desk sales and on occasion acting as a back-up delivery driver if needed.

• Receive and unload incoming shipments and verify that they match the paperwork making corrections as needed
• Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies to management
• Sort and distribute work throughout the shop
• Generate sales order paperwork for work picked up by sales persons
• Assist with sales by answering customer questions and processing orders
• Act as a backup delivery driver as needed, including loading and unloading goods onto delivery vehicles, verifying delivery addresses, and completing delivery paperwork
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving, sales, and/or delivery driving is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for backup delivery driver duties)
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) on a regular basis
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to be flexible on start time when needed to make deliveries (6:00am start occasionally)
