Job Description:


The role of the Vice President Operations is an execution driven position which will cover all aspects of operational oversight for the Invesco Private Credit suite of products (Direct Lending, Credit, PE and CLO Equity).

As a general matter, the role will help serve as a conduit between Investment platforms and service units (Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance and IA) of the firm.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage valuations, reporting timelines, cash management, performance reporting, hedging, lines of credit and trading
  • Drive product offerings and products generally from a mechanical standpoint (terms, reporting, internal piping)
  • Maintain working knowledge of fund goals, objectives, and investment guidelines to evaluate the portfolio impact of transactions.
  • Participate in the development and execution of the funds' investment plans.
  • Assist with investment and fund level projection models and debt monitoring
  • Coordinate communication/projects between Investment and Accounting/Tax teams
  • Coordinate and assist with settlement of public and private investment transactions.
  • Portfolio company activity corporate actions (Stock Splits, Dividends, Coupon Payments, M&A, Rights Issues, and Spin-Offs), proxy votes, income from private portfolio companies
  • Monitor Market Activity foreign currency rates, investment valuations, and market activity
  • Own relationships with custodians and coordination of investment activity
  • Hedging including foreign currency assets
  • Interact with IR and have direct communications with clients and GP members
  • Help with ad hoc projects, including RFP/DDQ requests and special investor/consultant request
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • 5+ years in private fund industry focusing on Credit Strategies
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in a teamoriented environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn new software
  • Familiar with Wall Street Office platform
  • Performance reporting
  • Solid understanding of private funds industry and accounting concepts
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Sense of urgency and attention to detail

Formal Education:

  • Undergraduate Degree; CPA and/or CFA, Accounting, Finance or Business-Related Preferred
The salary range for this position in New York City is $150,000 - $170000 / year.

The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
