    Description

    Job Title: Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician - TOU

    Welcome to View Point Health Adult Crisis Stabilization Program located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Our program is dedicated to serving adult clients in need of psychiatric crisis intervention and stabilization services, as well as substance use disorder support.

    • The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) runs 24/7, providing a secure and structured environment for clients facing a mental health crisis.
    • Our program offers services similar to residential treatment but with a higher level of care tailored to the acuity of our clients in crisis.
    • We also operate a Temporary Observation Unit (TOU) within the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit. This area offers evaluation services within a 23-hour window to determine the appropriate level of care for each client.

    Upon admission to the TOU, clients undergo assessments by a team of professionals, including nurses, physicians, and clinicians. Paraprofessionals and CPS may also be involved in providing additional services to address clients' needs.

    Our clinicians, besides conducting initial assessments, offer crisis intervention, individual and family counseling, and case management to facilitate a comprehensive client care plan by the end of their 23-hour stay.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
    • Eligibility for licensure
    • Minimum of two years of supervised experience in the relevant area
