    Description


    We are looking for a CTO who is enthusiastic to join as a visionary in an early stage technology startup.

    The founder is a senior executive with over 25 years of global-level experience working in leadership positions for blue-chip and Fortune 100 companies (consulting, digital media and financial services) across the World.

    He also already developed, scaled and built web businesses that were sold for over $1B+ dollars to private equity companies.


    We need someone driven, ambitious who is willing to take calculated risks to make a true impact in the World.

    Someone who is excited to build something amazing and isn't scared of defining what our engineering practices will be. If you are fascinated with shaping how people live their social media and enjoy developing the technology behind powering a scalable web solution, we're excited to meet you

    In addition to talent for innovation, leadership and adaptability, the role assumes responsibilities including:

    • Build the development of the MVP leading a team of outsourced developers.
    • Lay foundation for scalability.
    • Set up formal development processes (reporting, documentation, testing, QA, etc.).
    • Lead deployment of web app to market.
    • Hire, onboard and train engineering team as needs evolve.
    • Own security while running audits and document security procedures as needs evolve.
    Preferred Requirements

    • BS/BA/MS in Computer Science or similar.
    • 5+ years of experience in mobile app development.
    • 3+ years of managing engineering teams using an Agile or Scrum methodology.
    • 3+ years working in B2C companies with a heavy focus on data, data management, AI, and ML.
    • You have an interest in social media, AI/ML applications to predict human behavior and consumer-based applications.
    • You have an advanced understanding of the main social networks' technical, communication (API) and security architectures. Ideally you have prior experience in building successful products for a popular social network
    • You are obsessed by stellar user experience for web-based consumer applications.
    • You're a "geek who can speak" - you have experiencing presenting in front of customers as a key technologist whether it be participating in security assessments, handling escalations, or participating in sales presentations.
    • You've worked with a long list of great people who would follow you and join us when the time is right.
    • You are fluent in cloud-based architectures.
    • You know what good code looks like in C++, Python, HTML, Flutter, Web Development, Mobile Applications, Web Application, Communication, Relationship Building and you like to roll up your sleeves and hack.
    • You're comfortable working at a start-up and ideally you have already successfully worked for a start-up where you contributed to build a b2c product to market. We offer equity based on qualifications and performance. We are not able to pay a salary yet. We expect to raise within the next year and bring the whole founding team at market rates.
    • You can work from anywhere because our team is currently fully virtual but prefer proximity to the East Coast and ideally Greater Boston/Greater New York area.
