German VETTER Industrie GmbH is a worldwide leading fork manufacturer for the Forklift, Construction and Attachments industry.
Our subsidiary in the U.S., VETTER FORKS INC., located in Chambersburg/PA is focused on sales, distribution and production and is seeking a motivated Shop Worker.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setting up and operating a variety of automatic and semiautomatic machines (saw, flame cutting, bending press)
- Meeting daily production goals
- Hand tools, power tools, machines and devices are part of everyday use
- Daily cleaning of equipment and surrounding areas
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred, but not required
- Working constructively with supervision
- Use a moderate amount of judgment to perform assigned task
- Responsible and independent operation of the machines
- Reliable and teamoriented
- Basics in reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to read and interpret metric blueprints, drawings and verbal instructions
- Basic knowledge of using measuring tools and hand tools
