Description
PA Congressional Campaign seeking talented Field Organizers to engage volunteers and voters in Chester and Berks Counties.

Organizers should be high energy, outgoing, and enthusiastic. The salary for this position is $4,000 monthly, with an ideal start date in late June.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to expand and mobilize the volunteer network for the campaign,
  • Coordinating with other stakeholders working to elect Democrats, including local Party Committees and other campaigns,
  • Managing and executing voter contact tactics such as phone banks, canvasses, voter registration drives, text banks, and visibility events,
  • Recruiting and coordinating volunteers around voter protection efforts,
  • Meeting weekly goals, and
  • Maintaining a desire to learn new skills, particularly about the day to day operations of political campaigns
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • A desire to make a difference,
  • Previous political campaign experience a plus, but not required,
  • A selfstarter and be able to work independently and as part of a team,
  • Adaptable to changing needs and program priorities,
  • Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence —the awareness, knowledge, and skills needed to work with others who are culturally different from self in meaningful, relevant, and productive ways; ability to speak multiple languages is a plus,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Knowledge of VoteBuilder and/or Mobilize is a plus; knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite Apps is required,
  • Excellent organizational, management, and interpersonal skills,
  • A positive, teamoriented attitude,
  • Current driver's license and access to a laptop,
  • Ability to commute to Chester or Berks Counties,
  • Sense of humor, love of dogs (or, okay, cats), deeply competitive spirit, and heart for public service all plusses.

$4,000.00 per month
