Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Alpine Northwest, WY.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality in our projects.

Responsibilities:

Conduct Quality Induction trainings for various departments to increase quality awareness
Gather quality requirements from contracts and local regulations and incorporate them into the project quality plan
Create a project quality plan based on customer and internal requirements
Develop and monitor the master test plan for supplier and site activities
Communicate Hitachi Energy and customer quality requirements to critical suppliers through quality control plans
Ensure that supplier inspection test plans and records are in line with the quality control plans
Review quality documents for accuracy and completeness before approval
Facilitate lessons learned sessions with the team for ongoing projects and ensure their implementation in future projects
Coordinate and oversee factory or site acceptance testing with customers, third parties, and government authorities as needed
Report project quality KPIs
Assist and coordinate in audits and work towards improving internal processes
Lead improvement projects using methods such as PDCA, DMAIC, and 8D

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering or quality management
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project quality or operations, preferably with internships in the field
