Neuroinformatics Data Manager


The Neuroinformatics Data Manager will lead large-scale neuroinformatics initiatives for the management and analysis of high-dimensional biomedical imaging data, with a specific focus on brain imaging.

As part of these efforts, we aggregate, curate, perform quality assurance, analyze, and share many of the largest neuroimaging datasets that exist.

These efforts serve the many labs that participate in Ai2D and the broader research community. Applications include efforts focused on neurooncology neuropsychiatry, neurology, brain development, and aging.

The Neuroinformatics Data Manager will work in team environment with a diverse, multi-disciplinary group of faculty and trainees from radiology, psychiatry, psychology, engineering, statistics, and computer science.

Primary responsibilities curation and management of large-scale imaging databases, data management, data sharing, and image processing.


Qualifications:

Bachelors degree, and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. To succeed in the highly collaborative environment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. Superb technical skills including familiarity with Python, Linux/Bash, R, and Git/Github are a prerequisite. Experience with neuroimaging tools (AFNI, FSL, ANTs, FreeSurfer) is welcome. Experience with DataLad is a particular strength.

Skills developed in this role are highly transferrable will accelerate professional growth in either academia (e.g., transition to a senior scientist role) or the technology industry.
