Position Overview

This is for a newly launching major premium experiences and hospitality program.

This position requires a dynamic, competitive, hardworking sales leader with a successful track record in building & managing a sales team and in hitting aggressive sales targets for professional sports and/or large scale multi-national events.

This position represents one of the key functions responsible for helping the organization meet its financial goals while delivering the highest levels of customer service to corporate clients and premium package buyers.


Key Responsibilities- Build and lead a world-class sales organization by structuring and staffing a sales team.- Champion real-time monitoring of financial performance metrics including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement and adjust strategies as needed to achieve financial targets.- Create a clear prospecting strategy to generate leads and sales.- Work across the project organization and other needed areas to build and drive commercial campaigns.- Build effective business relationships with Corporations and Premium Consumers.- Sales presentations will be made by phone, video conferencing and/or face-to-face meetings as travel is required.- Ensure sales are engaging with audiences of all types through partnership with Marketing and Product- Understanding of how to navigate different audiences, sales phases, and product types on a global scale.- Establish distribution and sales partnerships with institutions including domestic and international professional sports teams and leagues, international travel agents, venue teams, host cities, and others.

Activate and manage these partnerships to drive commercial results and product accessibility.- Partner and communicate daily with Marketing, Ecommerce and the head of the program to optimize performance and revenue.

Maintaining constant and clear communication is key.- Quarterback the sales team and distribution / sales partnership network by motivating and incentivizing the organization to deliver sales for 1M+ in ticket - inclusive premium experience packages.- Develop country and product-specific sales timelines and channel strategies to expand reach and increase market penetration.- Lead revenue optimization by identifying opportunities to maximize revenue streams across new channels and markets.- Contribute to the pricing strategies tailored to diverse global markets market, considering factors such as demand elasticity, local economic conditions, and cultural preferences.- Utilize advanced analytics and forecasting techniques to project sales trajectories, assess pricing strategy effectiveness, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.- Demonstrate the financial acumen and analytical skills necessary to review sales data, develop revenue projections, and evaluate profitability.- Set complex, value-oriented sales commission and other incentive structures for internal teams and external partners.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred 10 years+ sales experience in sports or hospitality. 5 years+ management experience in sports or hospitality.
  • Strong Communication, Presentation and Written Skills.
  • Established relationships with key corporate clients.
  • Salesforce CRM expertise, Asana and Excel.
  • Travel Approximately 75% of the time or as needed
