On-site at our office in Centreville, MD, with duties spanning both the office and the residential apartment above.


Salary:
$55,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience

We are a professional couple who co-founded DuroSot LLC, a dynamic and growing software consulting firm.

We are seeking a diligent, versatile, and dedicated Personal Chef / Housekeeper to support both our business and personal needs directly within our work-live space.

As our Personal Chef / Housekeeper, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining an orderly, welcoming, and efficient environment in both our office and residential spaces.

Your responsibilities will extend from culinary duties to general housekeeping, ensuring a seamless daily operation on both levels.


Key Responsibilities:

Culinary Excellence: Prepare daily lunches and dinners focused on healthy, Mediterranean diet-inspired meals for the co-founders.

Housekeeping Duties: Conduct regular housekeeping tasks including but not limited to laundry (washing, folding), maintaining kitchen cleanliness, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and general tidying up.

Administrative Support: Assist with office operations by greeting delivery personnel, unpacking and lifting packages (up to 50 lbs), and managing incoming mail.

Home, Plant & Animal Care: Tend to indoor plants and manage daily chores such as making beds, washing linens, restocking toiletries, and ensuring the residential space is welcoming and well-maintained. Also cleaning up after and occasionally caring for our two adorable hypoallergenic dogs, one of which is a puppy in potty training.

Driver: Occasionally drive the founders to medical appointments and functions


Desired Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a chef or cook with a strong ability to cook dietaryspecific meals, particularly Mediterranean diet friendly items. Creativity, independence, and resourcefulness when it comes to planning weekly meals and stocking pantry.
• Experience in housekeeping or a similar role with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to perform occasional physical tasks involving lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanor, capable of managing interactions with delivery personnel and guests.
• Prior experience in a livein or similar setting would be beneficial but not required.

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to complete a criminal background check as a prerequisite for employment
• U.S. Citizen with a valid driver's license
• Close proximity to our Centreville MD office and/or willingness to commute

Pay:
$55, $80,000.00 per year
