We have set ourselves the goal of making social networks truly social again - with real human connection instead of just consuming content. In our community, each member should find 3 important people for their real life: as a System Administrator, you ensure that the infrastructure for our platform functions flawlessly and manage our Linux servers / databases / Kubernetes clusters / Ansible.

What can you expect?

• You will work in our operations team. You are responsible for the smooth operation of our 100+ Linux (Ubuntu LTS) based servers and the applications running on them
• You will manage, for example, our internationally distributed Apache Cassandra cluster, the Kubernetes cluster on bare-metal servers, our cloud backup, and monitoring and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana
• You are responsible for the technical on- and offboarding of new team members
• You will receive thorough training and always have experienced contacts available to help you with any questions
• You have a say in what you learn and achieve during your time with us

What should you bring?

• You are passionate about managing large server landscapes and have a degree, comparable education, or practical experience and interest in this area
• You ideally already have experience in Linux, system administration, databases, etc.
• You have strong analytical intelligence
