We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and related administrative tasks.Reporting directly to the CFHRO, responsibilities include processing weekly payroll, handling union reports, managing retirement plans, and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations.
Responsibilities:
Approve and process employee reimbursements.
Process weekly payroll with precision, adhering to company policies and regulations.
Prepare and manage union and 401(k) reports.
Maintain Health Savings Account (HSA) and disability reports.
Manage workers' compensation policy renewals, audits, and claims.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and record-keeping.
Administer COBRA through the Office of the Chief Administrator (OCA).
Generate ad-hoc reports and assist with pension-related tasks.
Support the CFHRO with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
At least five years of experience in payroll processing.
Proficiency in payroll software, with Paylocity knowledge as a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
