Description

FIREFLY Restaurant + Game Room is focused on simple and healthy food. We offer many vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options as well as locally-sourced ingredients. Our brick and mortar has a family-friendly environment with fun arcade games, pinball, and a selection of board games.

Seeking a bartender/server with management opportunities available. Knowledge of Virginia craft beer & cider preferred. At the moment we do not have a regular high volume, fast-paced bar scene.

However, we host many private events throughout the year, especially the holiday season, with up to 200 people in attendance.

The right people will be fast learners or experienced individuals with attention to detail, willingness and ability to communicate, and a passion for customer service.

Prior bartending/restaurant experience is preferred. Applicants need reliable transportation.

Must be available to work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Starting pay is based on experience, typically $15-$16 an hour, plus shared tips, which average $8-10/hr on top of base pay.

There are also opportunities for a commission of bar sales for a highly motivated bartender looking to help us increase our bar business.
