    Summary :

    The Deployment Planner is responsible for driving the Regional deployment and redistribution process culminating in a SKU level deployment plan across a multi-node distribution network that balances service, optimizes inventory, and manufacturing capacity objectives. The Planner will collaborate with Supply Planning, Customer Service, and other partners to achieve service level and inventory targets. Our goal is to have the right product, at the right time, in the right quantities and the right place to maximize our business and deliver an optimal customer experience.Creative thinking, a sense of humor, and personal responsibility for what you do is key

    Responsibilities :

  • Use ERP system to create, maintain, and execute detailed, short to mid-term distribution plans for multiple product categories to meet customer requirements, optimize inventory and balance warehouse capacity.Ensure data integrity of master data elements which drive production and MRP (safety stock, transit times between nodes, etc).
  • Give instructions and coordinate with load planners, distribution centers and plant shipping teams regarding prioritization and expedited shipments.
  • Execute redeployment strategy and activities at a regional level to minimize excess and obsolete, stranded inventories.
  • Partner with Customer Service and Supply Planning / Operations in understanding service impacts and developing action plans to increase on-time, quantity and line fill performance to our customer base.
  • Responsible to receive, research, and respond to customer service inquiries regarding product availability – working with Supply Planners to determine shortages and excess.
  • Investigate recurring outage situations to determine cause and reduce future occurrences.
  • Serve on various cross-functional project teams as required.
  • Analyze data and synthesize information to take necessary actions that support company goals and improved fulfillment. Define, measure, and diagnose key performance indicators.
  • Continuously improve technique, method, and approach. Execute initiatives focused on process improvement and standardization.
  • Actively participate in sales and operations execution process (S&OE)
  • Key Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree BS/BA or equivalent work experience.Major in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in supply planning, operations or distribution planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIF) – MS Access a plus. SAP experience a plus.
  • Comfortable collaborating with a close-knit and highly engaged team.
  • Strong Analytical skills.Demonstrated success in problem solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Success working in a matrix environment.
  • Must be a detail-oriented self-starter, and comfortable taking initiative.Ability to organize work and manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to simplify complex issues into actionable insights and communicate next steps.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Lean Six Sigma awareness.
  • Consumer Products or Industrial products Experience.
  • Experience in MRP and ERP systems (SAP APO/IBP)
  • Experience in PowerBI and BEx Data Warehouse tools.
