Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive basketball program that emphasizes skill development, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning.
Provide effective leadership to assistant coaches and support staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
Plan and conduct engaging and competitive practices that maximize player development and team cohesion.
Scout opponents and develop game strategies to optimize the team's performance during competitions.
Mentor studentathletes on and off the court, promoting academic success, character development, and responsible behavior.
Communicate regularly with players, parents, school administration, and the broader community to ensure transparency and support for the basketball program.
Must be able to fundraise.

Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience at the high school level or equivalent, with a proven track record of success.
Deep knowledge of basketball fundamentals, strategies, and coaching techniques.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire studentathletes.
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity and respect.
Ability to work collaboratively with school administration, faculty, and parents to support the holistic development of studentathletes.
Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
