POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position's primary responsibility is to handle and solve intricate service calls, offering technical assistance and diagnostics to Honeywell clients. Additional duties may include managing technical aspects of small service projects, time and material allocation, and preventative maintenance tasks assigned. These clients utilize different products encompassing HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, security systems, and related computer systems. Senior Technicians are expected to guide and support less experienced team members. The objective is to guarantee system functionality and operational efficiency.

Service coverage includes Southern New Mexico and West Texas regions.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Configure multiple systems.
• Conduct system backups and implement necessary updates and patches.
• Address specific problems, scenarios, and integrations based on customer requirements.
• Program EBI's (Enterprise Building Integrator).
• Apply expertise in virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to meet customer needs.
• Complete essential documentation for services rendered and contractual commitments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate protective gear.
• Ensure compliance with security and clearance mandates as specified by clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of HVAC/Automation Field Experience.
• Capacity to work autonomously 75% of the time.
• Willingness to travel within the service area, occasionally necessitating overnight stays.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record for Honeywell.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS PREFERRED:

• 5+ years of HVAC/Automation Field Experience.
• Technical Training background.
• Low Voltage License.
