The position detailed below is for work TMMG is currently bidding. Contract award is anticipated in the 3rd quarter of FY24. Should TMMG be awarded the contract we will be hiring for the type of future employee listed below. Date available 9/28/2024.


Position Description:


  • Receiving, reviewing and tracking Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) for the Polar Security Cutter
  • Conducting package content prereviews prior to forwarding the analyzing organization
  • Working with document originators to confirm that packages are complete including files, attachments and that they are fully functional prior to SEM formal review.
  • Work with the Assistant Program Managers (APMs), the Ship Design Team and the PRO to develop and maintain CDRL status data to insure its visibility across the organization.
  • Monitor CDRL status against milestones: Preliminary Design Review; Critical Design Review; Asset Delivery; etc.
  • Set up and maintain all aspects of the CDRL Center in NSERC
  • Provide training and guide to the shipbuilder on the use the CDRL Center in NSERC
  • Provide monthly updates to INVEST on the top three CDRL risks
  • Travel is less than 10%

Education/Certification Requirements:


  • BS or BA degree and 3 years' experience or Master's degree. Six (6) years work experience, or an Associate's Degree plus four (4) years work experience, may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Requires a general understanding of technical disciplines associated with developing:
Detailed Design of Ships (hull structures, outfitting, piping, mechanical, electrical and combat systems).

  • 2 Years experience using SharePoint and preferably NSERC
  • 2 Years experience in ship design, construction and/or acquisition programs preferred.
  • Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Excellent Oral, Written and Presentation skills.
  • Time Management and Organization skills.
