Description

RECEIVING ASSOCIATE
The Receiving Associate receives, inspects and records shipments. You will be responsible for matching shipments to purchase orders and checking for damage.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries
Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
Restock factory stations
Order additional materials as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position
Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
Solid understanding of safety regulations
Basic math and recording abilities
Excellent organizational skills
Great communication and interpersonal abilities
Keen eye for detail
Forklift experience is required
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to quick changes
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
