Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) at Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health Group_

As an EMT, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care to patients in need.

These are
Per Diem positions, 8 hours shift, with the _minimum _requirement to perform 24 hours per month.

Valid
CT certification as an
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

- Minimum 6 months of experience as EMT

- Basic Life Support ( BLS ) Certificate from AHA, ARC or NSC
-
High school Diploma or equivalent
-
Valid Driver's License to drive in CT

Flexibility to work various shifts, including
nights, weekends, and holidays

Summary:

Administers pre-hospital emergency and non-emergent care and transportation services to sick or injured persons.
Safely fulfills all patient care responsibilities associated with patient conveyance.
Documents specific details of the patient conveyance in a timely, complete and compliant manner following specific best practice guidelines.
Safely maintains equipment for constant state of readiness.

Job Types:

$25.00 per hour
