Position Summary


At Apache Oil Company, the driver of our Bulk Products will be responsible for ensuring that our products are delivered safely and accurately to customers in a timely fashion.

This role is responsible for delivering liquid bulk lubricant and bulk grease products to Apache Oil Company customers. This role could consist of at least 10 deliveries per day.

This position will require you to maintain professional composure and provide all customers with the highest level of customer service at all times.

Apache Oil Company supports customers on an intra-state basis within a 150 mile radius of Pasadena, TX.

Essential


Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
People


  • Receives delivery information from dispatcher daily; will discuss any discrepancies or concerns directly with applicable dispatch personnel.
  • Works with cohesively across all departments and a staff.
  • Maintains positive and professional communication with all personnel.
  • Communicates with external customers and clients with respect.
  • Builds relationships between customers and assigned Account Managers.
Service

  • Deliver bulk lubricant products to customers according to assigned route, could be up to 10 deliveries per day.
  • May assist Warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material as needed.
  • Picking up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests, as necessary.
  • Maintains accurate driver logs daily.
Quality and Safety

  • Perform daily pretrip and posttrip inspections.
  • Fuel assigned truck as needed and reports any problems or issues to supervisor.
  • Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations.
  • Follows all safety rules while on the job.
  • Reports accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards.
  • Completes required and jobrelated inservices and applies the information as needed.
Financial

  • Uses resources efficiently.
  • Submits reimbursements in a timely manner when needed.
  • Fuels up company vehicle in compliance with Apache Oil procedures.
Education Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Required
Experience Requirements

  • Three years verifiable delivery/box truck experience required.
  • Five years preferred.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Current CDL from state of residence
  • No DUI/DWI convictions within the past five years
  • No Chargeable D.O.T. reportable accidents within the past three years.
  • Maintain valid commercial driver's license, endorsements, and DOT physical card.
  • Work closely and effectively with multiple levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack.
  • Ability to operate a drum dolly.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

From $23.00 per hour
