JOB TITLE: Building Services Technician at Morehead State University

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Building Services Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned facilities in residence halls or education and general buildings on campus.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma/GED equivalent or four years general work experience. Must have the ability to understand and follow instructions and be in good physical condition.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous custodial experience and additional education.

Morehead State University is a comprehensive university offering high-quality instruction at both undergraduate and graduate levels with an enrollment of over 10,000 students.

Organizational Relationships: The Building Services Technician reports directly to the Building Services Supervisor or the Building Services Superintendent. This position involves interaction with faculty, staff, and students.

Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting and use of ladders may be required.

Working Conditions: Overtime may be necessary for special events or emergencies. Work schedules and locations may vary depending on assignments.
