    Role Description

    This is a full-time remote with some limited onsite presence role as a Construction Contract Specialist located in Virginia or North Carolina. The Construction Contract Specialist will be responsible for managing and negotiating contractual agreements, overseeing contract management procedures, and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations. They will also be involved in analyzing contracts, communicating with stakeholders, and contributing to the development of successful construction programs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred must have at least 24 hours business credits
    • Eight years or more of providing full cradle to grave government agency construction contract administration and procurement experience that includes documented experience in the Federal government acquisitions and working knowledge of FAR and/or VAAR based procurements in Construction and A&E specialized areas
    • Must be efficient in using all Microsoft Office applications and be experienced in using an electronic procurement contract writing system to generate solicitations, contracts and modifications
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review and interpret contracts and legal documents
    • Experience in contract negotiation and management
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders
    • Knowledge of contractual agreements and regulations
    • Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
    • Experience in construction industry or related field is preferred
