Job Summary:


As a Supply Chain Data Analyst at Calico Cottage, Inc., you will be at the forefront of transforming our supply chain operations into a data-driven powerhouse.

Your role is pivotal in analyzing diverse datasets to uncover patterns, predict trends, and generate actionable insights.

By leveraging advanced analytics and cutting-edge technology, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies and optimize processes across the entire supply chain.

Responsibilities:


Data Collection and Analysis:


  • Gather and analyze data from various sources, including ERP systems, databases, and external sources.
  • Develop and maintain databases for storing and managing supply chain data.
  • Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques and data visualization tools to interpret findings and report insights.

Forecasting and Demand Planning:


  • Work closely with demand planning teams to accurately forecast demand for products.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other factors to predict future demand.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities to optimize inventory levels and reduce stockouts.

Inventory Management:


  • Monitor inventory levels and analyze inventory turnover rates.
  • Identify excess or obsolete inventory and recommend strategies for liquidation or reduction.

Supplier Performance Analysis:


  • Evaluate supplier performance based on metrics such as ontime delivery, quality, and cost.
  • Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, negotiation, or alternative sourcing.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to establish and maintain supplier scorecards.

Process Improvement:


  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the supply chain process.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to address supply chain disruptions and prevent recurrence.

Reporting and Communication:


  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate key supply chain metrics and insights to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Present findings and recommendations to ensure alignment and implementation of strategies across departments.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a supply chain or logistics environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R. Experience with modern data platforms like SAP Analytics Cloud, Oracle SCM, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques and AIdriven analytics is highly desirable.
