POSITION PURPOSE:


We are seeking a hospitality focused and organized individual to join our team as a Floor Manager Executing a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of all hospitality-related activities on the floor of the establishment.

Overseeing staff, maintaining exceptional guest experiences, and optimizing operational efficiency.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:


  • Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the company.
  • Supervise restaurant staff during service hours, including servers, hosts/hostesses, bartenders, and bussers, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales, improving efficiency, and enhancing the overall guest experience.
  • Train new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to optimize performance.
  • Assign duties, provide training, and monitor performance to ensure high standards of service delivery.
  • Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork among staff members.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPIERENCE AND SKILLS

  • Serve as a liaison between floor staff, management, and other departments.
  • Communicate relevant information such as promotions, events, or policy changes to the team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Sound knowledge of hospitality operations, including front office procedures, F&B service.
  • Familiarity with hospitality software systems for reservations, billing, and guest management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with a diverse range of individuals, including clients, colleagues, and staff.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to move around the establishment, including walking, standing, to supervise operations and assist guests as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Flexibility to reach, bend, and stoop.
