    Your Role at Baxter:

    Baxter is searching for a skilled Scrum Master to lead our software development teams towards success. As an experienced Agile leader, you will foster an agile mindset within the organization and guide our engineers to inspect, adapt, and enhance their performance within a rapidly growing medical device development setup.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Play a pivotal role in a small team of agilists, influencing the broader organization while supporting one or more software development teams as a Scrum Master.

    • Empower yourself to:

      • Drive and implement changes in a dynamic organization, molding the future of our software development procedures.
      • Utilize best practices in project estimation to formulate and communicate realistic timelines, adapting effectively to evolving project requirements.
      • Guide cross-functional development teams as a Scrum Master, preparing them for success and ensuring seamless collaboration across various teams.
      • Groom project backlogs, prioritize tasks, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of top-quality software.
      • Conduct quarterly iteration planning, aligning our teams to tackle challenges in the constantly changing medical device development landscape.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address inter-functional dependencies, ensuring smooth project delivery and maximum value for customers.
      • Utilize your JIRA administrative skills (or similar tools) to streamline agile project coordination processes.
      • Bring your expertise in software quality and agile methodologies to the forefront, advocating for best practices and driving continuous enhancements.
      • Solve intricate problems and mediate conflicts effectively, utilizing your strong mediation skills to keep our teams focused on success.
      • Take ownership of your work, balancing detailed work with a holistic view of our agile development processes.
      • Collaborate with experts in embedded device development and regulated industries to ensure compliance and value for customers.
      • Apply your experience in setting up JIRA workflows to optimize team workflows for maximum efficiency.
    What you'll bring:

    A Bachelor's degree or higher, with over 8 years of experience, including 5+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile leader. A thorough technical understanding of software engineering principles and practices, such as SDLC, IEC 62304, CMMI, and Agile methodologies. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage in technical and project management discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A drive for problem-solving, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement, with a focus on empowering cross-functional teams. A growth mindset, willing to learn and adapt in the ever-evolving medical device development realm.
