Delivery Driver - Somerville, United States - Sweet Cleaning Solutions Inc

Description

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Driver to join our Laundry Pickup & Delivery team on Tuesdays and Thursdays, generally from noon till 6 or 7, and some Wednesday or Friday hours, depending on the workload.

You will be responsible for planning your route each day (this is very important) providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer orders are picked up and delivered on time.

• Pickup at commercial and residential customer sites, following assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
• Communicating with customers and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, tagging each customer's laundry appropriately, including any discrepancies or issues
• Loading laundry bags into vehicle and delivering to laundromat for processing
• Loading processed laundry back into vehicle and delivering back to commercial and residential customer sites
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
• Occasional assistance processing orders and ensuring our workplace is clean and well maintained

• Valid drivers license
• Own your own car for delivery must be smoke and pet free
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle customer issues and complaints professionally and with friendly respect
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically capable of heavy lifting up to 40 pounds, and loading/unloading into vehicle
• Physically capable of standing for long periods of time
