Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Chief Software Architect to lead our digital employee experience product HP WEX through this exciting journey, leveraging AWS cloud and data services with a focus on incorporating Gen AI technologies.

As the driving force behind our product evolution, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and satisfaction.

You will be part of a fast-paced unit looking to be best-in-class in every aspect. And it will start from your architecture.


Everything here at HP is about scale, you will be architecting one of the largest device telemetry systems in the world, with high robustness and enterprise grade security.

You will be innovating on the cutting edge - leveraging Gen AI to unleash learning for our large data set to solve workforce experience problems in autonomous ways.


Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with executive leadership to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for modernization, aligning with business objectives and market trends.


Architecture Design:

Architect scalable, resilient, and secure solutions leveraging AWS cloud services, data services, and Gen AI technologies to enhance the digital employee experience.


Technology Evaluation:

Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to continuously optimize and enhance the product architecture, ensuring it remains cutting-edge and competitive.


Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, UX/UI design, and data science teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, fostering collaboration and innovation


Technical Leadership:

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the software engineering team, guiding cutting edge innovation, architectural decisions, best practices, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables


Performance Optimization:

Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability, meeting the demands of a growing user base.


Security and Compliance:

Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, safeguarding sensitive employee data and ensuring data privacy.


Continuous Improvement:

Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation, experimentation, and learning within the team to push the boundaries of what's possible in digital employee experience.


Requirements:


  • Proven
    experience as asoftware architect or Technology Leader**, with a track record of designing and delivering complex, scalable software solutions.
  • Deep expertise in
    cloudnative architecture and handson experience with AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, EMR, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.

Nurturing and Facilitating architects across the group driving collaborative decision-making processes.

  • Strong understanding of
    data architecture, data modeling and experience at scale.
  • Familiarity with
    Gen AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and automation, and a passion for integrating these technologies into innovative solutions.
  • Excellent
    leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and inspire crossfunctional teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
  • Cutting edge
    Full Product Lifecycle or Startup Experience is an added plus.
