We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. This vital role combines culinary expertise with strong management skills to ensure exceptional food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient kitchen workflows, supervising staff, managing inventory, and upholding food safety standards. Your leadership will inspire a team committed to delivering outstanding dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are met consistently.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Supervise and train kitchen staff on food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques to foster a skilled and motivated team.
Implement and maintain food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations; conduct regular cleanliness and sanitation checks.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while controlling labor costs.
Lead efforts in food production for various service formats including casual dining, quick service, catering, or banquet settings.
Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus, control budgets, and improve overall restaurant performance.
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a strong team aligned with company standards.
Support customer service initiatives by ensuring staff deliver friendly, prompt service that enhances guest experiences.

Experience

Proven management experience in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably within quick service or casual dining restaurants.
Extensive culinary experience with skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen supervision.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively through training & development initiatives; previous supervising or assistant manager experience is highly valued.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling across various hospitality settings including hotel or banquet environments.
Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis within the food industry.
Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills; capable of motivating teams and fostering a positive work environment.
Background in hospitality management or restaurant management roles with a focus on customer service excellence.
