Organizational Consultant (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt)

Location:
Aberdeen, MD (Hybrid Onsite at least 1 day a week)

Position Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of organizational structures and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyze data, develop performance metrics, and establish benchmarks for process optimization.
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma projects and use of the methodology to drive continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings to promote awareness of Lean Six Sigma principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to standardize processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to Lean Six Sigma best practices and principles.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership, highlighting key findings, progress, and outcomes of process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Lean Six Sigma methodology.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field or relevant work experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a recognized accrediting body (e.g., ASQ, IASSC).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in organizational consulting, process improvement, or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading Lean Six Sigma projects and delivering measurable results.
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data to support decisionmaking and problemsolving.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Selfmotivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, statistical analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in DoD or Federal government contracting HIGHLY preferred.

Pay:
$ $105.00 per hour
