- 2+ years' experience as a PowerBI developer, data scientist, data analyst or data engineer
- Experience with PowerBi Analytics, creating dashboards, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience with statistical research and analytics techniques (i.e. classification, clustering, regression, segmentation, etc.)
- A passion and interest in the development of Educational software
- Knowledge of school district processes and functionality is helpful
- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
- Analyze large amounts of data/information to discover and articulate trends and patterns
- Collecting data through means such as analyzing business results or by setting up and managing new studies
- Transferring data into a new format to make it more appropriate for analysis
- Searching through large data sets for usable information
- Solve large, complex problems to achieve interrelated and interdependent objectives
- Creating reports and presentations for business uses

Focus School Software is looking to expand our team by hiring a PowerBI Developer / Data Scientist to work with our team. This person will help support our Analytics product which includes dozens of dashboards analyzing student data to help educators target interventions and improve their educational processes.
