Key Responsibilities:
Contract Negotiation and Management:
Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
Ensure contracts are compliant, mitigate risks, and maximize value for the organization.
Proficient in contract language and adept at drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements.
Procurement Expertise:
Utilize 15 years of procurement experience to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize category spend.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, process efficiencies, and supplier consolidation.
Stay abreast of market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to inform procurement strategies.
Systems Proficiency:
Possess hands-on experience with Workday Procurement and Fieldglass to effectively manage procurement processes, contracts, and supplier relationships.
Leverage technology tools to streamline workflows, track performance metrics, and generate actionable insights.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, priorities, and requirements.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to gain buy-in, drive alignment, and facilitate decision-making.
Communicate effectively across departments and levels to ensure transparency, clarity, and accountability.
Cost Savings Initiatives:
Develop and implement strategies to negotiate cost savings, optimize total cost of ownership, and drive value across the supply chain.
Qualifications:
Sharp Contracting Experience:
Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, understand legal implications, and craft agreements that mitigate risks and deliver value.
Procurement Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of driving results.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Workday Procurement and Fieldglass, with the ability to leverage technology tools to streamline procurement processes and manage supplier relationships.
Stakeholder Management:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, influence decision-making, and build consensus.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts, present persuasive arguments, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize procurement strategies.
Results-Oriented:
Proven ability to deliver measurable cost savings, process improvements, and value-added solutions within designated categories.
