Scottsdale BH is an AZDHS licensed, Joint Commission Accredited 10-bed Residential Adult Behavioral Health Facility in Scottsdale, Arizona.
As a
Behavioral Health Technician, your primary responsibility will be to guide the safety, physical and emotional well-being, and supervision of patients in the care of Scottsdale Behavioral Health.

Essential Functions:
- Maintain safety, security, and supervision of clients at all times, to include oversight and supervision of daily routines
- Serve as a positive role model, utilizing approved behavior modification techniques to help youth learn desirable behaviors
- Provide positive reinforcement and support
- Reinforce and positively explain house rules and reason for them
- Assist in developing and training staff on policies, procedures, and house schedule
- Serve as the point of contact for policies and procedure compliance in the absence of the Supervisor
- Assist in crisis protocol as needed
- Manage the calendar to ensure all appointments, outings, visits, etc. to ensure necessary staffing needed to accommodate clients
- Assist Program Coordinator with quality assurance checks and program documentation
- Ensure documentation accuracy
- Model Scottsdale Behavioral Health's expectation for sensitivity and competency relating to diversity and cultural awareness
Education/ Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience working with patients within behavioral health or similar setting
- Experience leading, training, and/or developing staff
Must have valid CPR/First Aid training certification:
Must possess or able to obtain prior to employment a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card:
Must have current TB test record:
Must have valid Arizona Driver's license, exhibit the ability to operate Agency vans and/or vehicles safely, and have a clean 5-year motor vehicle history.- Must maintain all licensing training and certification requirements as required
- Must have computer proficiency to ensure that log notes are entered as required

Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
