- Education: B.S. degree in IT-related field, or equivalent education and work experience
- Experience: 4+ years of experience with writing complex Web applications using C#, ASP.NET, RESTful and similar web services. Development experience with FinTech systems (Empower Loan Origination System, Encompass Loan Origination System) preferred. A solid background in consumer mortgage is highly desirable. Experience in financial services is helpful.
- Skills: Experience with Visual Studio 2019 or newer, creating and maintaining web applications required. Firsthand experience with application integrations high preferred.

SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer III to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, constructing, presenting and implementing software systems that are optimized for, scalability, maintainability, and speed. The candidate will be comfortable working in ambiguity and collaborate closely with teammates and other business sectors to meet business objectives.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Technical Knowledge, Years of Related Experience, Skills, Licenses, and Systems Experience
Participate in additional training on sales, technology, products, procedures and pricing on an ongoing basis. Complete annual training as required by company policy and law on an annual basis in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, code, and test components to make systems that are cost effective, scalable, high performance, and reusable.
Modify existing software to conform to changing requirements, correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
Execute and assist with deployment procedures.
Participate in collaborative brainstorms with the rest of the development team.
Monitor software systems to validate functions and ensure specifications are met.
Work with other departments and business sectors to perform unit and system testing of new applications.
Work independently on all user and system changes, migrations, and large scale integrations.
Provide support and guidance to members of the team as appropriate while assisting and training Software Engineer level 1 & 2.
Monitor and assist with triage and remediation of critical system issues.

Read all newsletters and bulletins to remain current on corporate policies, procedures, and developments.

Work Location Information:
