Job Summary:

Psychiatry is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Neurotherapeutics program. The Registered Nurse will report directly to the Senior Practice Manager and work closely with our physicians. Primary responsibilities involve IV placements and patient monitoring.


Responsibilities:


  • Establishing IV access.
  • Administration of Ketamine and IV fluids via peripherally inserted catheters, establishing, assessing, drawing and flushing lines.
  • Assisting with entering labs, vital sign monitoring and entry.
  • Monitoring and logging inventory.
  • EKG administration.
  • Peripheral blood draws.
  • Ensuring availability of necessary supplies.
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or requested.

Job Qualifications:


  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • NYS RN License required
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS/PALS certification preferred
  • Ability to perform sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing for long periods of time
  • Exposure to blood, body fluid, and tissue
  • Perform/assist in emergency care and/or first aid as needed

Hourly Rate Ranges (Per Diem): $ $55.56

Note:

Our salary offers will fall within these ranges based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skill set, training and education.
