Description

We are looking for a Food Service Worker for a School in New Castle DE. This is a Part time role;
25 hrs/week 5.5 hrs per day (includes 30 minute unpaid break).
Hours will be from **7-12:30 or 7:30 am

1 pm.**
Meal Program General Worker Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous food handling experience preferred, but not required
Ability to follow detailed food preparation instructions
Professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent people skills
Basic math skills
Ability to follow food health and safety guidelines and training
Cleared background check

Assists the Coordinator by performing the following:

Tracks daily meal counts
Processes weekly meal claims, updates and maintains nutrition forms, and required nutrition documents
Maintaining a clean cooking environment and ensure all equipment works properly
Assist inventories food supplies needed
Supports Nutrition Coordinator with agency compliance of the Meal Program
