- Providing support for instructional activities of faculty by copying exams/handouts; reserving instructional equipment and rooms; maintaining faculty schedules, contact info, and syllabi;
- Managing departmental operations by assisting the Department Chair; controlling access to facilities; generating mass mailings, maintaining accurate files for advising and registration using Ellucian Colleague; managing control of supplies; record keeping of travel budget and associated paperwork for travel;
- Learning University policies and procedures and ensuring departmental requests and forms are submitted completely and correctly;
- Enabling departmental activities by scheduling and preparing for faculty committee, departmental and board meetings and taking accurate meeting minutes as needed;
- Providing support for faculty research and instructional needs by managing graduate assistant schedules;
- Coordinating college and departmental level student activities;
- Supporting faculty advisors for undergraduate advising; and
- Assisting with college level events and activities.
