What to expect:

  • A challenging position in a family-owned engineering office in Bargersville.
  • You will independently work on construction projects and advise clients from site investigation to the creation of construction ground reports and supervision of earthworks.
  • You will plan and coordinate site investigations, evaluate results, and perform geotechnical calculations (e.g. bearing capacity, settlement, stability calculations).
  • You will have the opportunity to take on new challenges and expand your knowledge in other areas.
  • You will monitor and manage earthworks on construction sites.
  • You will communicate clearly and effectively with other planning and construction team members.

What we expect:

  • A degree in geosciences (Dipl.-Geol. or M. Sc.) or civil engineering (Dipl.- Ing. or M. Ing.), preferably with a focus on engineering geology and geotechnics, or equivalent qualifications in the field of construction ground / geotechnics.
  • Quick comprehension and willingness to familiarize yourself with construction and geotechnical issues.
  • Confident and communicative demeanor.
  • Independent work style.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Good computer skills: MS Office, common geotechnical software (GGU, DC, possibly PLAXIS).
  • Fluent German language
